Food Research International – Special Issue ‘ICFD2026’

Dear ICFD2026 participants,

We are delighted to inform you that, as with previous ICFD editions, we are continuing our collaboration with the journal Food Research International, which has agreed to publish a special issue following the conference.

The research presented in oral and poster presentations in Gdańsk may therefore be submitted as scientific articles. All submitted manuscripts will undergo the journal’s standard review process in accordance with its editorial policies.

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion in the special issue, it is important that authors select “VSI: ICFD 2026” when they reach the “Article Type” step in the submission process.

The Special Issue will open on 1 June 2026 for manuscripts reporting research presented at ICFD2026. The submission deadline is 31 December 2026.

Young Scientist Award

The journal Food Structure (Elsevier) kindly sponsors the Young Scientist Award. The recipient will be selected from among the student and PhD student participants.
